This practice combines the physical (external) practice with the energetic (internal) practice. This practice is often designated as medical qi gong to improve health and longevity. Just as Yoga honours diversity, we would also like to honour the yoga traditions through diverse teachers. I (Patricia) will be your lead instructor but you will have an opportunity to hear from a variety of teachers with various expertise. When you do a training or course with West Coast Yoga you will receive an education that honors the traditions of the Yoga practice and adapted to the current developments of society. The training is rooted in Hatha Raja Yoga (a 8-limbed yoga practice) but also recognizes more recent developments of movement, meditation, and wellness.
